Official Topics
The six topics are Key facts, Eligibility, Apply for a pass, Appeal against a rejected application, Cancel a pass and Replace a card. Australian/New Zealand citizens must meet age eighteen-to-thirty and university requirements. The pass is issued only once, with no more than six months for the same employer.
Follow the Twelve-Month Programme Application Route
This programme is the twelve-month route for eligible Australian and New Zealand citizens, rather than the separate six-month Work Holiday Programme. A job does not need to be secured before applying. Nevertheless, check the citizenship, age and university-study conditions before booking the stint, because an intended job or internship does not replace those conditions. The pass is non-renewable and is issued only once under this programme.
The candidate submits the application. Graduates provide the passport particulars page and degree certificate or transcripts. Undergraduates provide a university letter covering the listed personal and study details and a student card; the letter must be no more than three months old. Non-English university documents need the original and an official English translation certified by the university. Documents must be PDF or JPEG, each no larger than two megabytes.
Plan submission no more than three months before the intended travel date. Most applications take within four weeks, with extra time possible for further information. Following approval, issuance must be completed within three months of the IPA date and requires presence in Singapore. Budget S$175 for issuance plus S$30 for a Multiple Journey Visa where applicable. As a practical schedule, keep application, IPA, entry and issuance dates separate instead of treating approval as an issued pass.
