Purpose of the Sample List
MOM’s sample list helps assess whether a candidate’s institution is acceptable for TEP. It takes reference from institutions awarded twenty points under COMPASS C2 Qualifications.
The page does not itself provide a separate full institution table. Read its linked list alongside TEP’s course-attachment and institution-or-salary requirements.
Check the Institution Without Importing the Wrong Pass Rules
Use the institution name shown on the student's academic records when checking the linked sample. Keep any former name or English translation available to distinguish the institution from another school with a similar name. This is practical preparation, not an additional prescribed TEP document. The linked document is a COMPASS C2 list: it distinguishes Group A degrees across all faculties from Group B degrees in specified faculties. Those statements describe that document's EP qualifications context.
For the TEP decision, return to the TEP eligibility page. A student's Singapore attachment must form part of the course, and the student must either study at an acceptable institution or receive a fixed monthly salary of at least S$3,000. A trainee from the employer's foreign office or subsidiary instead needs the S$3,000 salary. Do not use an institution match to dispense with the attachment requirement, or describe the sample as a separate TEP points test.
Prepare the detailed training programme and passport particulars page required for the application. MOM can request qualification verification or evidence of foreign-company ownership during review. Verification proof is not mandatory with every initial TEP application, but the employer remains responsible for authentic qualifications from accredited institutions. This separates checking the institution from deciding what supporting evidence is required for the actual case.
