Application and Decision
Employers or representatives use Singpass when their own misconduct inquiry cannot finish within the initial one-week suspension. Apply at least 3 working days before that week or the current approved extension expires. The form takes 10–15 minutes; complete submissions are processed in 3 working days. Approval remains the Commissioner for Labour’s decision.
Documents and Explanation
Provide the initial suspension letter and other supporting evidence. Explain to the employee the alleged misconduct, extended-inquiry reasons, salary payable during suspension and estimated inquiry end date. Follow the user guide and the separate misconduct rules on half-pay and restoration.
