Recognise the Issue
A grievance may involve dissatisfaction or perceived victimisation arising from management behaviour or insensitive supervision. Miscommunication can harm morale and productivity if left unresolved. Workplace harassment has its own linked FAQ guidance.
Employee Channels
Use the company grievance process, raise a supervisor’s conduct with senior management, approach a union, or seek counselling. Physical harm or threats of harm require an immediate police report.
Employer Procedures
Treat employees respectfully and adopt fair, responsible employment practices. Maintain open communication, establish a proper grievance-handling process, respond appropriately and explain the available channels, including access to senior management.
