The historical SHA case describes 160 members and about 80% of gazetted rooms, emphasising hotel security without diminishing hospitality. SHA/SPF/NCPC annual conferences, a jointly developed Hotel Security Manual and role-play training spread awareness across reception, security and housekeeping.
Partnerships and Guides
iSSWG participation began in 2008, with a January 2009 dialogue. Examples include Northstar VII 2009, Heartbeat 2011/2019 and Tidal 2022. SHA/EnterpriseSG work reviewed SS545 hotel security with NCPC and SPF; MOM’s hotel guide supports response planning. Physical safeguards, risk/continuity plans and trained staff complement guest-sensitive technology.
