First discuss the maternity dispute with the employer. If dismissed without sufficient cause during pregnancy and maternity benefits are unpaid, a worker covered by the Employment Act or CDCA can file at TADM after dismissal and within 2 months after childbirth. Union members can seek union help, and legal assistance is another route. This maternity-specific period differs from the general one-month wrongful-dismissal deadline.
