Required Documents

Upload the passport particulars page. If its name differs from other documents, add an explanation letter and supporting evidence such as a deed poll.

The detailed training programme must state its objective, training type, location and duration. MOM may request other evidence; follow its upload guidelines.

Translation and Qualification Verification

Upload each non-English original and English translation as one file; a translation provider may prepare it.

Verification proof is not mandatory for TEP applications, but employers remain responsible for genuine qualifications awarded by accredited institutions. The eligibility page also says evidence may be requested during review. These are compatible requirements.

Check the Passport Image Before Upload

The official travel document upload guide calls for the latest biodata page, with a clear colour image, readable labels and an unobstructed machine-readable zone. Use an upright landscape image without glare or watermarks. Include an amendments or observation page only when it changes biodata details. The guide accepts JPG, PNG and PDF, and says to save each page as a single image file. Enter the full name in passport order; follow its machine-readable-zone guidance for accented characters.

Make the Training Programme Internally Consistent

For preparation, check the programme’s objective, training type, location and duration against the proposed attachment. State the actual training arrangement rather than leaving a generic job description. This is an organising suggestion, not a prescribed additional MOM template.

Also confirm the correct TEP eligibility route: a student’s attachment must form part of the course, with an acceptable institution or fixed monthly salary of at least S$3,000. A trainee from the employer’s foreign office or subsidiary needs at least S$3,000. MOM may request qualification verification or foreign-company ownership evidence during review. These possible requests do not make verification proof a mandatory initial upload for every TEP application.
