Check LP Renewal Eligibility Before Choosing Three Years

Check the LP’s expiry date by UEN or entity name in Bizfile, then confirm the entity dashboard before starting renewal. Applications cannot be made more than 60 days before expiry. A missing reminder should trigger a record and contact-details check, not an assumption that no renewal is due. Owners may renew through Corppass or engage a CSP.

For all renewals, the relevant owners must have paid the required MediSave contributions or arranged monthly instalments with CPF. The three-year option is more specific: there must be no outstanding MediSave payable, or an instalment plan with at least 24 consecutive months of monthly contributions. As practical preparation, settle this eligibility question before selecting the S$90 option instead of assuming that paying a higher fee secures a longer registration.

ACRA lists S$30 for one year and S$90 for three years, both non-refundable, with immediate approval. After success, check the updated registration details and download the free Business Profile from the Bizfile Inbox within 30 days. This LP period differs from the 60-day profile availability described for some other entity transactions. If registration has already been cancelled for non-renewal, the LP guide directs registration of a new LP; do not import a sole-proprietorship restoration process.
