Renewal
An employer or appointed EA can renew up to six months before LOC expiry, free of charge. Processing is one week, with some cases longer. LTVP/LTVP+ must have at least three months remaining; otherwise renew it with ICA first.
Update the organisation’s preceding three years of turnover before renewing through Singapore EP eService.
Loss and Replacement
Report a lost LOC and request a replacement through the official linked service.
Before Cancellation
Seek tax clearance from IRAS and settle outstanding employment matters raised by the holder, including salary payment.
Cancellation Deadline and Procedure
The employer or EA cancels no later than one week after the holder’s last day of notice. Request up to fourteen days ahead: for 15 February cancellation, submit from 1 February.
Cancellation is immediate except for advance requests. An expired LOC does not need cancellation. Use Singapore EP eService.
