Check for Missing or Incorrect Documents
Make sure the documents submitted are correct and complete. After registration at MOM Service Centre Hall C or EPSC, check for an advisory asking for additional documents. For online card renewal, check for an SMS requesting resubmission. MOM sends the delivery SMS or email to authorised recipients only after all documents have been received and verified.
Track Delivery and Use the Digital Pass
The employer or employment agent can check delivery status through WP Online or Singapore EP eService. While waiting, the holder can view the digital work pass and employment details in SGWorkPass. Help the worker download the app, set up the digital pass and, when needed, register for Singpass or reset its password.
Separate a Delivery Delay from Pass Validity
A missing delivery message does not by itself identify the outstanding step. As a practical check, ask the employer or agent which submission was made, which documents MOM asked to correct, and who was named as an authorised recipient. Compare that record with the advisory or SMS. The official FAQ says delivery details are sent only once the documents are received and verified; registration alone is therefore not confirmation that every document has passed that check.
Meanwhile, the holder can verify the digital pass in SGWorkPass without scanning a physical card. The app displays the latest pass details and can be shown to verify validity. Access to detailed information is protected by identity confirmation on the phone. For Work Permit holders, including helpers, Employment Info also shows salary information after device verification. Those features concern the issued digital record; they do not create a new pass or resolve a missing-document request.
If SGWorkPass shows Invalid, MOM says the pass has expired or been cancelled and the holder can no longer continue working. Ask the employer to investigate through WP Online or EP eService. Where needed, use the separate no-login status portal with date of birth and FIN or passport number. Avoid interpreting a card-delivery delay as permission to ignore an invalid pass status.
