Services and Form
Check work pass and application status offers no-login application/validity checks and salary information for Work Permit holders, estimated at one to five minutes. Check and pay foreign worker levy views/pays levy bills, also one to five minutes.
The 222 KB Application for Interbank GIRO (Foreign Worker Levy Payment) is for levy payment. Service-completion estimates are not processing periods.
Use Different Records for Status and Levy Enquiries
For a status enquiry, have the candidate's date of birth and FIN or passport number ready. A new applicant without a FIN can use the passport number, or obtain the FIN from the employer's or agent's IPA letter. The portal shows applications made within the last six months. If a passport search returns multiple results, MOM says to use the unique FIN instead. This is a status check, not a new permit application.
For a levy enquiry, distinguish the bill from the payment record. The levy eService can show bills, adjustments, payments, GIRO applications, and waiver or refund status. If there is no existing GIRO arrangement, it can generate a PayNow QR code. MOM says a successful PayNow payment produces an immediate confirmation and appears under Payments within one working day. If neither appears, contact the bank rather than treating a bank-screen screenshot alone as the updated MOM record.
As a practical filing habit, keep the permit reference, relevant bill month and payment confirmation together. Past levy bills can be searched in batches of up to fifteen months, and payment records cover the past fifteen months. The short completion estimates describe time spent using the services; they do not promise a permit decision or immediate approval of a GIRO arrangement.
