Amendment Route
Use desktop Stamp Duty Login > Request > Amend/Revise Stamping Record and enter the Document Reference Number. Most fields can be changed, but late amendments can attract penalties. IRAS may request the liable instrument or validate changes with the contracting parties. Some certificates update immediately; reviewed cases are notified within 30 working days.
Duplicate Records
If duplicate entries already exist, request assessment through Request for Assessment/Appeal for Waiver. Attach the instrument and identify which document references should be cancelled and retained. Complete requests are generally processed within two months. Verify the original transaction before deciding that a duplicate represents additional duty.
