Key Points
A manager or CSP can file up to three months before the deadline. Check the entity profile, SSIC, address and partners or managers, correcting outdated details first. The transaction asks whether debts can be paid and includes relevant declarations. ACRA lists S$30 and immediate record updating. The free Business Profile linked after successful filing must be downloaded within 60 days.
Review the LLP Solvency Declaration Before Payment
Start with the dates shown for the correct LLP. A first annual declaration falls due 15 months after registration, and the previous-declaration field is naturally blank. For an existing LLP, the form displays the previous submission and next deadline automatically. As practical preparation, compare those dates with the LLP’s filing record instead of treating an automatically populated date as proof that earlier obligations were met.
Correct outdated entity information before continuing. The pre-filing check covers the entity profile, SSIC activity, registered office, partners and managers. Use the relevant update service rather than trying to cure a changed address only by submitting the annual declaration. A manager or CSP then makes the declaration of whether the LLP can or cannot pay its debts; the response must describe the LLP’s actual position.
Review all declarations before proceeding to the S$30 payment and retain the successful filing notification. This is an LLP annual declaration, even though Bizfile navigation groups it under annual filing; it is not the ordinary company annual-return process. ACRA says the records update immediately after successful filing. The linked free Business Profile provides a further check of the updated record, but access expires after 60 days, so download it within that period.
