Penalty and Apportioned Hearing Costs
On 16 May 2006 PAOC ordered Chan Hui Peng to pay a S$3,000 penalty and S$876.70 to ACRA, the latter being half the costs and expenses incidental to the Inquiry Committee hearing. The notice does not say the costs figure represents the entire hearing cost.
Identity of This Notice
Gazette notice 1642 under the Accountants Act, Chapter 2, was first published on 3 July 2006 at 5 pm. It does not give the misconduct reasons. This 2006 order is separate from the 2004 notice about the same named accountant.
